Winter storage of protective fabrics
Find out how winter storage with the BayWa hail protection system works. Here, it is important to roll up fabrics and films as compactly as possible by stretching and wrapping them, in order to provide little surface for wind, storm and precipitation to attack. Compact winter storage of the fabrics is also necessary if frost irrigation is planned for the area. If the winter storage is not very compact, there is a high risk of damage because the nets can fill up with water, freeze and the retaining straps can tear off due to the weight.
